Shiravune has announced that it will release Taimanin Yukikaze, the popular spin-off of the Taimanin franchise starring young ninja Yukikaze. The game is the sequel to Taimanin Asagi and will arrive on Steam in 2024.
Taimanin Yukikaze follows demon-slaying ninja Yukikaze who wields a suite of deadly lightning powers, but as she embarks on a mission to rescue her missing mother.
The game features the two main protagonists of the franchise, Yukikaze Mizuki narrated by Yuri Himuro and Rinko Akiyama narrated by Haruka Satou.
The story takes place in Japan in the near future, which is invaded by demons, creatures of darkness and corruption. Through an ancient unspoken agreement, humans and these dark beings have always remained separate - until the depravity of man began to break down the barriers. Currently, humans and demons conspire to form gangs and corporations. It is an age of chaos, but those who still choose to walk the right path are far from powerless. The government formed the Taimanin, a group of ninjas who, although human, have the strength to fight these nefarious enemies.
