Unknown Worlds Entertainment published a note on its official profile on X (Twitter) informing that they are working on the new title in the Subnautica franchise.
Without many details, the developers only revealed that they will share more details about the game that should be released in early access in 2024.

Subnautica is a survival, exploration and construction franchise, where players must venture into the unknown ocean, facing the challenges and dangers of diving deeper and deeper looking for clues from history and harvesting resources to build their base and equipment to survive.
The first Subnautica was originally released in 2018, sold more than 5 million copies on PC alone, and takes players on a dive into the waters full of life and mysteries of an alien planet, where they must survive after a disaster with his spaceship. The sequel Subnautica: Below Zero, was released in 2021, and takes place two years after the events of the original game, now focused on an Arctic region on the planet of the first game, where players must uncover the mysteries behind the aliens that were there before humans.
Both games are available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
