Announced at the end of 2022, the remake of Silent Hill 2 did not receive much news, leaving fans waiting and not knowing the progress of its development. But according to its developers, this could change soon.

Piotr Babieno, CEO of the developer Bloober Team, in an interview with the Polish website Bankier, commented that the game's promotional campaign should be launched “very soon”, and also informed that the publisher Konami, which holds the rights to the IP, will be responsible for it.

Since its announcement, little has been released about the title, what has been said serves more as reminders that it will be released.

In Silent Hill 2 you take on the role of James Sunderland, a man who received a letter from his wife asking to meet him again at "our special place". The strangest thing about all this is that his wife passed away three years ago. James then decides to go to this location and enters a city that seems almost deserted, but with many strange monsters, and just a few ordinary people. James then explores the city, looking for answers. He will face countless puzzles and fights against macabre creatures.

The remake of the game will give a new take on familiar locations, plus the camera view is fixed on the main character, which will completely change the approach to exploring Silent Hill and solving puzzles.

Silent Hill 2 Remake will be released for PC via Steam and on PlayStation 5, remaining as an exclusive on the console for a year.

I like several different works, but with a tendency for strange and funny stories.

I like arts, games, drawings and interesting things.
