Yesterday it was officially revealed that the second season of the series House of The Dragon is scheduled to make its grand debut in June this year, although the exact date has not been disclosed.

Confirmation of the date was shared first-hand by the head of the streaming and gaming division at Warner Bros. Discovery, J.B. Perrette.

House of The Dragon, was one of the main productions of 2022, winning Best Drama Series at the 2023 Golden Globes, beating other big hits such as Better Call Saul, Ruptura, The Crown, and Ozark. The series had 10 episodes in its first season and is focused on the Targaryens, the legendary family from the Game of Thrones series, and is set 200 years before the events of the first series, and will show the rise and reign of the Targaryen dynasty, as they conquer and rule Westeros.

House of The Dragon features names such as Matt Smith, as Prince Daemon Targaryen and actress Emma D’Arcy, as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. The cast also features Steve Toussaint, as Lord Corlys Velaryon, Olivia Cooke, as Alicent Hightower. Emily Carey as young Alicent Hightower and Milly Alcock as young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and many others.
