Along with the trailer, Frontwing shared an interview with composer Fuminori Matsumoto, who shares the main point of the soundtrack; Matsumoto-san replied:

I've thought about this a lot, but I don't think there's any in particular. I always make sure the music livens up each scene without being too overpowering.

Furthermore, when asked about his favorite BGM, he shared:

I worked hard on all the music, but if I had to name one track, it would be the one used in the summer festival scene. It's a Japanese-style melody, but instead of a Japanese flute, I used an Irish tin whistle for the melody. I asked a professional whistler to play.

Additionally, additional voice cast members have been revealed, and include: Maria Naganawa, Ayasa Ito, Chika Anzai, and Shuta Morishima.

GINKA is a visual novel about a boy named Aoba Ryusei who lost his childhood friend during the night at a summer festival. Her childhood friend, Shinomiya Ginka, disappeared, and no one knew what happened to her, leading to claims that she must have been "dispossessed". But five years after the fact, he meets a girl who is identical to his friend from the past. Not only that, the girl doesn't even remember her name, but she still recognizes Ryusei and loves him. While Ryusei is happy with this situation, he can't help but feel uncomfortable about the mysterious elements behind it, especially since she hasn't aged a bit. Now, it's up to you to discover the truth behind the nostalgic and peaceful calm of this encounter.

GINKA is written by Konno Asta with character designs by Yusano and Akio Watanabe. Asta and Yusano were also responsible for the game ATRI -My Dear Moments-. Ginka's voice actress is Ikumi Hasegawa, who voiced Arcueid Brunestud in Tsukihime -A Piece of blue glass moon-.

Ginka will be released for PC via Steam on October 26, 2023.
