Moon Studios, the same developers behind the award-winning Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, are about to launch No Rest for the Wicked, your new game that promises to reinvent the RPG genre by bringing lots of precise and visceral action to combat.
The game will arrive on Steam on April 18th through Early Access, arriving later on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

In No Rest for the Wicked, you are one of the Cerims – a sacred group of mystical warriors with incredible powers and sworn to fight the Pestilence at any cost. However, this task will become increasingly challenging as you become involved in the dilemmas of the people and the extensive political intrigues of this oppressed land. On your journey to rid these lands of wickedness and shape the kingdom's destiny, chaos will come from all sides.
The year is 841 – King Harol is dead. As news of his death echoes throughout the kingdom, the crown passes to his son: the arrogant but inexperienced Magnus. Even worse, the Pestilence, a cursed plague not seen in a thousand years returned. It spreads throughout the territory, corrupting everything and everyone in its path. Madrigal Seline, the church's brutally ambitious leader, sees the Pestilence as a chance to promote herself in the eyes of her god. These forces converge on Ínsula Sacra, where rebel groups and the provincial government vie for control among the decaying ruins of the remote island.
During the game you must improve your skills with a system that challenges you to fight in a deliberate and strategic way. Fight repulsive creatures, enemy soldiers and merciless bosses in tense, visceral combat. Feel the weight and speed of weapons, each with unique usage styles. Enchant weaponry with runes, craft rare armor and build a character according to your play style.
Uncover an adult and dark narrative on the cruel coast of Ínsula Sacra. As cunning leaders and fierce rebels vie for the throne, an ancient plague spreads across the land, transforming its inhabitants into monstrous versions of themselves.
Explore a painting come to life. Absorb the incredible picturesque world, meticulously constructed with incredible attention to detail, in a unique and timeless art style. Each frame radiates beauty, from the sunlight that dots the Low Meadows to the machete shadows of viscera that twist in Nameless Pass. Each new location has its own people, problems, hidden treasures and secrets to be uncovered.
You will also be able to take a break in the city of Sacramento: buy property and decorate it to your liking. Fish from the coast, till the land and collect ingredients to prepare meals that restore life and improve attributes. Get acquainted with the city's diverse merchants and residents, and bring Sacramento back to its past glories.
In multiplayer mode you will be able to share your world and progress with up to three friends alongside you in the campaign's online cooperative mode. Every mission, boss, and square meter of Ínsula Sacra is theirs to share with you… or they can go on their own adventures.
