In Alruna and the Necro-Industrialists the overarching story doesn't care much about which path you take. Play the bosses out of order, why not? Create your own vines and complete difficult puzzles. Find a fifth secret temple in the east. Avoid picking up any weapons and only use special skills. It's possible? Who knows!

The world of Alruna and the Necro-Industrialists is a worn and dry land. There is only Sprawl. Poor, muddy skeleton men who roam the Necroindustrial Wastelands and pace endlessly back and forth in an arduous mockery of life. But are they the real enemy? Or do the skeletons suffer as much as the dryads under the rule of the Necroindustrials?

The dead long for Heaven. But the dead can only dig...

Alruna and the Necro-Industrialists got a demo and became quite popular during Steam's Next Fest in February, based on the feedback, developer Niklas Hallin created a new update for the demo version. The update includes even tighter and faster controls, a new crouch attack, and more options for gamepad button layouts, among other things.

Alruna and the Necro-Industrialists does not yet have a set release date, but it will be released during the second quarter of 2024.
