Our Life on Water is a simulation RPG set in Sahakom, a fictional nation inspired by the beautiful regions and real-life floating villages located on the Mekong River. You arrive in the village and end up assuming the role of Rivertalker, a visionary and wise man of the community. Faced with the growing barbarity of the modern world, you will have to resort to the help of the Spirits of the River, in the company of Yla, the talking otter.
The river is your new home. Enjoy the peaceful life of a floating village: collect bamboo and trash, recycle, craft items, build houses and structures, fish, tend crops, and raise animals. The river setting gives a unique touch to all these activities.
Get involved in the daily life of the village, participate in council meetings and social events. Use charm and skill to bring people together. Find your way to create a strong and resilient community that supports each other and is capable of facing difficulties as a group. Forge friendships and find love.
Explore the beautiful monsoon landscape, inspired by the floating villages of Cambodia and Vietnam, but with a touch of magical realism. Travel by boat, swim and dive in search of mystical artifacts. Interact with Yla, the Otter, and discover ways to gain the trust of the spirits that inhabit the river so you can rehabilitate the village.
