Shiravune announced that it will release the visual novel My Slow Life with the Princess Knight and Her Devoted Handmaiden in the West on December 15th. The game was scheduled to be released on October 10th but was postponed. Developed by Waffle (Funbag Fantasy series), will be available on Steam and Johren.
My Slow Life with the Princess Knight and Her Devoted Handmaiden is a visual novel set in a fantastic medieval world, and follows the story of Garland, a formidable adventurer, in However, that was before he was betrayed by his companions on a mission that left him seriously injured, but not enough to die. Unfortunately without family and relatives, he is not in a position to take care of himself due to his injuries. Now his adventurous spirit fuels his hopes of recovering and facing the world again. But for that he needs someone to take care of him...
Betrayed and abandoned by a group he thought he trusted, and now seriously injured, what he lacks is faith in people. And to complicate matters, his fame was great enough for everyone to know the fortune he made as an adventurer, and now it seems that everyone he knows is after his money. It wouldn't be a problem if he was in good health, but he needs help from someone he can trust.
As he ponders what to do, news reaches his ear from his homeland, which appears to have captured a smaller nation, and he also sees in passing some citizens of that fallen nation, perhaps captured during the conquest. They are being transported to be sold as indentured servants. As an adventurer who believes in freedom, Garland doesn't like the idea, but with these unfortunates, trust is optional: magic makes them obedient. After much consideration and with no other options, he makes the decision to get the help he needs, whatever the cost. He reluctantly buys the help of two women; Bound by a spell, they must now serve him and can never betray him, but the two also share a more glorious past...
The game features beautiful, warm and expressive art drawn by popular illustrator Chie Masami. As always, the version released on Steam is censored, while the version for Johren contains NSFW material unsuitable for minors.
