Shiravune announced that it will launch Kagura Genesis: Kuon's Story, a new game from the developers of Debonosu Works, for PC via Steam and Johren on 26th January 2024. For the first time in the series, the game will be released simultaneously with the Japanese release!
The game is a roguelike RPG that focuses on replayability and includes fan-favorite features from previous versions of Kagura. Additionally, the game features enhanced story event scenes, hallmarks of the series. Greater number of CGs and extensive world-building with hours of RPG lore and action.
Play as Shrine Maiden Kuon Makami and her loyal wolf cub, defending a once-peaceful forest from an encroaching darkness that brings horrific beasts, spirits, and more. Fight and exorcise evil spirits, recruit different Youkai and level up to fight increasingly stronger enemies, restoring harmony in the forest.
As usual with Shiravune releases, the version for Johren is uncensored and contains adult content.
