During The Game Awards 2023, we had the official announcement of God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla, a free DLC that will be released on December 14th for all players bringing a new mode to enjoy Kratos' journey, now with roguelite elements,

From the trailer, it appears that the mode will work like standard roguelites, with the player making several attempts to reach the end, with death being part of the process while facing several enemies along the way.

The mode looks like it will feature new enemies in the game, as well as bringing some from Kratos' past, such as Cyclops from the original God of War when it took place in Greece.

God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla will be released for free on December 12, 2023.
