Kadokawa has published a new trailer for the newest anime from Studio Trigger, Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi), which adapts the work with the same name by author Ryoku Kui, the trailer focuses on three cast members, and opens with the theme song "Sleep Walking Orchestra" by rock band BUMP of CHICHEN. The anime will air in January 2024 and it has already been confirmed that it will have 2 parts ("cours").

The anime will be shown worldwide on Netflix as soon as the episodes air. The first episode was shown at the Studio Trigger panel at the Anime Expo that took place last July.
Being produced at Studio Trigger, the anime will feature Yoshihiro Miyajima (SSSS.Dynazenon, episode director at SSSS.Gridman) as director, Kimiko Ueno (The Royal Tutor, Chimimo, Eternal Boys) is writing the script for the series, Naoki Takeda (chief animator on BNA: Brand New Animal) is creating the character designs, and Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenoblade Chronicles, Black Butler: Book of Circus) is composing the music.

Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) was released in February 2014 by Ryoku Kui in Harta magazine, volume 12 was released in August 2022, and in volume 11 it was revealed that the series was entering its climax, which refers to entering the final stretch of the story.
