Shiravune announced that it is about to launch Kuroinu 2 Redux in the West on November 6th, the game developed by Liquid will arrive on PC via Steam and Johren.
Kuroinu 2 Redux is the sequel to Kuroinu Redux set 100 years after the original story. Led by the seductive Empress Ladomira, the nation indulges in a life of immoral pleasure, seeking and hunting sacrifices in the surrounding lands - but in response, a Holy Alliance forms between the surrounding nations to encircle and destroy the Service Nation and its evil.. Standing in his way is Derek Rondo, the Nation's commander - rumored to be the second coming of Vult himself. Under Ladomira's orders, Derek successfully defeats the Allied armies.
However, Derek secretly harbors ambitions greater than battlefield glory. Fueled by the will to power, Derek's desire to claim everything, including the Empress, sets the stage for a gripping tale of power struggles, tragedy and conflict of desires!
The game features illustrations by artist Hikagi Eiji and was originally released in 2018 and its “Redux” edition released in Japan in 2021.
