Crunchyroll announced that it will remove 38 animes from its catalog for the reason of ending the licensing agreement with its partners, in this case, the Sentai Filmworks titles as of August 1st. It is a very disappointing announcement because they could announce a few days before to their subscribers, as it happens in other platforms of other services. Starting on August 1st, some titles from our licensing partners will be removed from the Crunchyroll catalog. We hope you enjoyed these anime as much as we do, and we encourage you to run a marathon of your favorites before the month ends.

Our catalog continues to evolve over time and we are delighted that we were able to bring hundreds of new series, films and OVAs to fans around the world in the past year. Our catalog of simultaneous transmission of this season is animal, and we are preparing something even better for the next! We look forward to sharing with you!

Sentai licenses all of these series in the U.S., and the service contract has ended. Sentai also owns Hidive, another anime streaming service.
