Filming and The Flash are in full swing, and of course, some behind-the-scenes footage has started leaking onto the internet. And an interesting sequel was published this weekend, where we see stuntman Rick English, filming an action sequel with the BatCycle. English will double Ben Affleck in the film, and interestingly will also double Robert Pattison in "The Batman ", movie planned for 2022.
A video sequence was also leaked, where we see that Batman is not very fond of waiting in traffic:
The costume he's wearing appears to be a modified version of Zack Snyder's Justice League costume, with the most notable change being on the back. As far as we know, The Flash will be Ben Affleck's last time wearing the bat outfit, and will retroactively connect DC Extended Universe with Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992) directed by Tim Burton. The story will likely connect these elements through a plot adaptation of the classic Flashpoint story, in which Barry Allen travels back in time hoping to make positive changes, but has a huge ripple effect on the DC Universe wider.
The Flash is due to open in theaters on November 4, 2022, if any problems occur in production! It stars Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Maribel Verdu and Ron Livingston, and is directed by Andy Muschietti with a script by Christina Hodson.
