The iconic adult game franchise Muv-Luv, which had its first game released in 2003, is turning 22, and to celebrate aNCHOR started a promotion on Steam placing the games of the franchise with up to 50% discount.

The Muv-Luv series is developed by âge Soft, and is considered by visual novels fans to be one of the best ever created within the genre, so much so that Muv -Luv Alternative has for years been the top rated visual novel on VNDB. The franchise expands to other types of media, already having anime, games, books and figures, but unfortunately the vast majority is only available in Asia.

Among the games on sale are:

Much of the franchise's fame is due to the first three arcs of its series: Muv-Luv Extra, Muv-Luv Unlimited and Muv-Luv Alternative. The visual novels start out as a high school comedy following Shirogane Takeru, a mecha VR game enthusiast who tends to get into fights with his sister. His normal school life goes off the rails when he meets a girl named Meiya. The two meet when he wakes up one morning and finds her in his bed. She soon decides to move into her home and begins to reorganize her life to her liking. While the story may be an unassuming comedy at first, it builds on its themes relentlessly, culminating in a politically oriented space opera they can predict until their pieces fall into place on their own.

If interested you can find all promotions here.

Remember that over the weekend aNCHOR held a special event, where they gave more information about the new games in the franchise: Project Mikhail and Immortals: Muv-Luv Alternative.

I like several different works, but with a tendency for strange and funny stories.

I like arts, games, drawings and interesting things.
