The latest released issue of Young Animal magazine that hit Japanese newsstands today, caught fans by surprise by releasing the last chapter of the Love Flops (Renai Flops) manga. The author's work Ryūdai Ishizaka has been published since June 2022 and has even been adapted into anime.
Love Flops (Renai Flops) is a romantic comedy that follows Asahi Kashiwagi, a student who one day encounters a series of unusual accidents on his way to school, all occurring according to the lucky prediction he saw on television that morning, and everything going on forever ended up with an unfortunate encounter with a random girl. Coincidentally, all the girls he meets along the way are new students or teachers at his school. Asahi's prior knowledge of girls earns him suspicion of Yoshio, a self-proclaimed "friend of Asahi". After school, he finds a love letter in his locker, telling him to go to the cherry tree behind the school, again as per his morning luck. Asahi goes to the cherry tree to see what awaits him.
The manga already has two volumes published with the third hitting newsstands in September. The work's anime debuted in October 2022. The author Ishizaka also published the manga Iwa-Kakeru! -Climbing Girls- in December 2017 and its sequel Iwa-Kakeru!! -Try a new climbing- released in June 2019. Their story was adapted into an original anime released in October 2020 called Iwa-Kakeru! -Sport Climbing Girls- which won 12 episodes.
