Steam started a big promotion with practically every Visual Novel (Visual Novel) on their platform, and as everyone already knows, this is one of the genres with the most games on the platform, so there are hundreds of games with discounts that go up to 70% and will last until August 17th when the promotion ends.
Visual Novel or Visual Novel is a genre of game focused on the story, and one of its characteristics, in addition to having a lot of text to be read, is that the choices during the dialogues dictate the course of the game. Of course, some games are little affected by choices in the course of the story, others may have several "routes" with alternative endings that will be released depending on the choices made during the game. As it is a genre that was born in Japan, the vast majority of games are more "anime" stylized, but their subgenres are quite varied, and you can find everything from horror stories, suspense, to comedy, action and of course adults.
