Yesterday during the special streaming to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Xbox, Microsoft announced that Halo Infinite multiplayer is now available to be played absolutely free.

Halo Infinite multiplayer mode is free to play with no payment for advantages. This can be considered as a beta, which offers a piece of season one content with a battle passes system. The progression made in this initial version will be transferred when the full game is released next month.

Halo Infinite multiplayer is now available on PC via Steam, for Xbox and Xbox GamePass consoles. The campaign is yet to be launched, which will take place on December 8, 2021. However, it is important to note that the December release will not contain the full content of the game, as Forge mode and the co-op campaign will not be ready, and will be released sometime in 2022 .
