During the live-streaming "GA FES 2021", the same live that revealed the second season of the anime Goblin Slayer, it was also revealed that the light novel Tomodachi no Imōto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai (My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me!) will be adapted for anime, and will feature the same actresses from the Drama CD to make you the main cast, which are:

  1. Haruki Ishiya as Akiteru Ooboshi
  2. Sayumi Suzushiro as Iroha Kohinata
  3. Tomori Kusunoki as Mashiro Tsukinomori
  4. Sōma Saitō as Ozuma Kohinata
  5. Kana Hanazawa as Sumire Kageishi

The light novel created by Ghost Mikawa is being published in English by theJ-Novel Club. In its synopsis we can read:

If a girl teases you, does that mean she likes you? Unfortunately, Akiteru knows from experience that this is not the case. Because every girl he interacts with shows nothing but contempt, and he never had a date! Fortunately, he is more concerned with securing a job for himself and his friends at his uncle's game development company. But when your uncle places a condition that involves playing your daughter's boyfriend, he has no choice but to accept. What will the sister of his best friend, Iroha, who relentlessly tease him, think of the news?

Tomodachi no Imōto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai (My Friend's Little Sister Has It In For Me!) had the first volume released in April 2019 featuring illustrations of tomari, and the sixth volume was released in December 2020. The story has also been adapted for manga by Hira Hiraoka and already had the second volume released in November 2020
