ANTHEM#9 is a turn-based deck-building roguelite where the player takes on the role of an agent of the secret society of the same name. The goal is to maintain world stability by eliminating threats such as mad scientists and spies. The narrative delves into the blurred lines between good and evil, focusing on an agent with mind-altering superpowers and their dangerous target.

Developer koeda is a solo creator who began their journey in games in 2021, despite having no prior programming experience. The project ANTHEM#9 is their first game and has already received recognition, winning the main prize at the "GAME BBQ vol.2" of the Shueisha Game Creators CAMP in the "No Demo" category.

The gameplay promises a unique combat experience, as battles are puzzle-based. Each turn, you randomly receive Gems of three colors (red, green, and blue). To attack your enemies, you must combine the correct number of these Gems to complete "Skill Recipes" and activate powerful Skills. You can assign up to four Skills to your deck and continue using them as long as you have Gems available. Experimenting with different combinations is key to maximizing your combo potential and ensuring survival.

Below are the main features of the game:

Tactical Roguelite: Deck-building system with roguelite elements and turn-based combat.

Puzzle Combat: Unique battles that require rearranging and combining colored Gems to activate Abilities.

Anime Aesthetic: Anime-inspired art and character design.

Global Intrigue: Dense story focused on espionage and a secret society operating in the shadows.

ANTHEM #9 will be released for PC via Steam in February 2026.
