WWWave, through its Deregula label, has announced a new trailer and cast details for the short anime adaptation of the manga *Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android?* (or *Android wa Keiken Ninzū ni Hairimasu ka??*), by Yakinikuteishoku. The work, which mixes comedy and more suggestive situations, promises to be a hot release in the upcoming season.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the unusual relationship between the protagonist and her new robotic assistant, as well as revealing a preview of the theme song "Android de Shin Jidai" (A New Era of Android), performed by Komaru Kurikoma, a member of the VTuber group Aogiri High School.

The story follows Akane Tsuda, a beautiful, intelligent, and indispensable 28-year-old office lady at her robotics company. However, behind her professional facade, Akane is a disaster at home, her apartment resembling a garbage dump more than a home. During a drunken stupor, she solves the problem: she orders an android named Nadeshiko to help with the cleaning. What arrives is a stunning and... fiery robot, who ends up offering Akane a "service" far beyond what she expected.

The anime will have two versions: one for television broadcast and an uncensored version. A special Original Video Anime (OVA), "Episode 9," has also been confirmed, showing events that occur after the end of the main series – good news for those who want even more of this duo.

The main cast of the on-air version includes: Ayaka Shimizu as Akane Tsuda, Marika Hayase as Nadeshiko, and Komaru Kurikoma as Itō-san. In the Deregula (uncensored) version, the roles will be played by Ao Senami (Akane Tsuda) and Yū Shiraki (Nadeshiko), with Komaru Kurikoma reprising the role of Itō-san.

The production team is led by Neko B as director, who is also responsible for the series' scripts, at the studio Nyan Pollution-ω-. Mitsuru Tsukiumi is in charge of character design and is the key color artist, and ZincP is responsible for the musical composition. The original manga, by Yakinikuteishoku, has been serialized in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine since July 2021.

Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android? is scheduled to premiere on January 9th (effectively January 10th at 1:00 AM JST) on Tokyo MX and streaming on AnimeFesta in Japan, with a later broadcast on BS11.

I like several different works, but with a tendency for strange and funny stories.

I like arts, games, drawings and interesting things.
