Warner Bros. Discovery announced today during its investor presentation that it has given the green light to the production of the series based on the book Dunk and Egg or Knight of the Seven Kingdoms by George R.R. Martin, which is a prequel to the events presented in Game of Thrones.
The series is based on Martin's series of fantasy novels, which follows the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and a young Aegon V Targaryen (Egg), 90 years before the events of "A Song of Ice and Fire”.
The series is currently titled “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight”. The official synopsis states:
The author of the books, George R.R. Martin, will serve as writer and executive producer, as will Ira Parker, who co-executive produced the first season of “House of the Dragon.” “Game of Thrones” and “House of the Dragon” veterans Ryan Condal and Vince Gerardis will serve as executive producers.
A few days ago Variety revealed that HBO is also looking to develop a series or film set in 'Aegon's Conquest'.
I like several different works, but with a tendency for strange and funny stories.
I like arts, games, drawings and interesting things.
