During The Game Awards 2022 Bandai Namco revealed the first gameplay of Tekken 8 showcasing some of the franchise's iconic characters such as Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima in a trailer with amazing graphics. The trailer shows several moments and we can see a fight full of beatings and frantic action.

According to producer Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken 8 is not reusing models from the previous game. With the switch to Unreal Engine 5, the game is being developed from the ground up for current platforms.
Tekken 8 will be the first mainline game in the franchise since 2017's Tekken 7, and is in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S|X with a release sometime in 2023.
