Developer Haenir Studio has published the first gameplay footage of Blight: Survival, a dark horror game set in a 14th century medieval era in the midst of a war. Players can finally see what this mix of genres looks like, as the game will also have a dash of action, roguelite and soulslike. Check out:

Blight: Survival is a 4-player co-op action horror roguelite set in the relentless no man's land between two desperate states in an unending war. Within this purgatory, a new variety of plague has emerged from the remains of the dead. Empowered by the blood that has been shed, it spreads rapidly transforming man into monster. As nations bleed, battered and paralyzed by war, they call to you and your kin, with generous coin offerings. As the only ones willing - and able - you've been tasked with venturing out and slaying the all-consuming plague.
During the game you and your friends will have a wide choice of weapons and armor to be found, along with strong customization. But beware, as there will be roguelite elements and death can mean the loss of these items. The huge open map will still have several secrets to be found.
Blight: Survival has so far been announced only for PC, but the developer says it has plans to bring it to consoles as well. The game does not yet have a release date.
