Released on Steam later this year, Death in the Water 2, a hunting and diving game that takes you to face various dangers in the deep vastness of the ocean.
The game developed by Lighthouse Games Studio, which is formed by a couple of friends, puts you in the shoes of a diver who must dodge and fight his way through swarms of terrifying sea creatures controlled by Death, a giant Kraken vicious that controls the mind and haunts your every move. In the game you will have to look for hidden treasures to unlock weapons and upgrades to help you in your fight for survival.
The game does not yet have an official trailer, but we can see some screenshots and two videos of a gameplay cut:

The first game was more of a prototype than the game itself, it consisted of simply shooting sharks with the harpoon. It has a very good graphic quality and modeling but there was no story. So I hope that in this sequel things go deeper and now we can unravel some mystery in the darkness of the bottom of the sea.
As a lover of survival games, this one I couldn't miss, and Subnautica 2 being the last one I dedicated myself to completing 100%, I hope this one brings the feeling of danger and pleasure in exploring a sinister place like the bottom of the ocean and can really surprise us. I'll keep an eye out and bring here to the site, any interesting news that the developers announce.
