Netflix released the first trailer for the space horror anime Exception, the trailer reveals that it will premiere on October 13th. Revealed last year Exception is a horror work based on the story of novelist and director Hirotaka Adachi also known as Otsuichi, which will feature character designs by Yoshitaka Amano ( Final Fantasy).

Exception will tell a story that takes place in the distant future, where humans were forced to leave Earth and migrate to another galaxy. A team was sent on a mission to find a planet suitable for terraforming. On this trip, the crew is created using a biological 3D printer, but a malfunction in the system causes one of the crew members, Lewis, to emerge in a deformed state. As Lewis wakes up his crewmates Nina, Mack, Patty and Oscar, a countdown to the end of the mission begins in the eerie darkness of the ship.
Exception debuts on October 13 exclusively in the Netflix catalog.
