In August 2020, just a few days before joining Gamescom, the well-known Geoff Keighley came to announce that the Game Awards will take place in 2020, despite not being in person, but adopting a digital format.

All that is known is that it will take place in December, as it always does, it will not take place at the Microsoft Theater despite the sponsorship of the company from Redmond and Intel continuing, and that it will be "The biggest TGA ever made", according to himself Geoff.

Today, through Twitter, the official account of The Game Awards came to remind us about the historic Game Of The Year 2019, given to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, from Activision Blizzard and From Software.

And of course, to take advantage, they asked the question: What game do you think will take GOTY 2020?

In recent years, the winners of such an award have been Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Overwatch, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, God of War, and of course, Sekiro.

Only in 2020 were innumerable games of great worldwide appeal that may not take the prize, but at least be in the dispute, besides of course, great favorites, such as The Last of Us: Part II, DOOM Eternal, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Half-Life: Alyx, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Dreams, and Ghost of Tsushima.

We still have a lot of releases until the end of 2020, also due to the arrival of the new Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5, which will see titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Demon's Souls, The Medium, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, who can steal one of the spaces in the seat of competitors at GOTY 2020.

And to you? Do you think which game will win the much desired gold award of the year in the world of video games? Leave your opinion below in the comments.

I like several different works, but with a tendency for strange and funny stories.

I like arts, games, drawings and interesting things.
