Sense - 不祥 的 预感: The Cyberpunk Ghost Story is a 2.5D horror game inspired by Clock Tower and Fatal Frame, which mixes cyberpunk with traditional Cantonese folklore. With careful attention to rhythm, atmosphere and narrative, the game hopes to return the horror genre to its roots, celebrating visceral horror and the slow, terrible shiver of dread.

The game takes place in the year 2083 in a "Neo Hong Kong", where a young girl named Mei-Lin Mak who ends up around a conspiracy of supernatural terror. As she delves deeper into this mysterious centenary, Mei will be forced to question her perception of reality and whether she trusts her cybernetic eyes. Under the neon lights of a cyberpunk dystopia, the ruins of 'Chong Sing Apartments' hide a bloody mystery illuminated by both Chinese folk traditions and innovations of the industrial future. If there is hope of escaping this nightmare, Mei-Lin must explore this complex, gathering the stories of 14 lost souls and discovering the truth about his own family's curse.

In Sense - 不祥 的 预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story, the player will have to research and examine every nook and cranny of the world around him to progress. Some items may not be visible until specific sequences of actions are completed, and some items may simply be hidden from Mei's cyber eyes, as if they had been carried away by the ghosts that were chasing her. Some actions may require quick thinking - and have urgent consequences. The game world is full of enemies and it's not just the 14 souls you must recover that inhabit the Chong Sing apartments, and failures and mistakes will be punished, so remember to save your progress whenever you can on an occasional TV, now that inside the apartments there will be no checkpoints or autosaves.

The developers also claim that it will not be possible to unravel all the game's secrets in a single move, and some secrets will only be revealed after finishing the story and a "new game plus" is started.
