The latest issue of Monthly Comic Rex magazine revealed that on August 27 a special chapter of the Masamune-kun no Revenge (Masamune-kun’s Revenge) manga will be released, about Masamune and Aki after the manga ends.
Masamune-kun no Revenge (Masamune-kun’s Revenge) unfolds around Makabe Masamune, who as a child suffered from bullying by a girl named Adagaki Aki. Determined to take revenge, he begins a rigorous regime of self-improvement and personal transformation.
Years later Masamune emerges as a new man, handsome, popular, with perfect notes and good at sports. He transfers to Aki's school where she doesn't recognize him. He is now ready to confront the girl who bullied him and humiliate her. But will he get his revenge?
Masamune-kun no Revenge (Masamune-kun’s Revenge) started to be published in 2012 in Monthly Comic Rex, and ended in June 2018. An OAD accompanied the 10th volume of the manga in July 2018 telling a “story after” the manga .
Takeoka and Tiv creators of the manga, launched the spinoff manga Masamune-kun no Revenge after school (Masamune-kun’s Revenge after school) in Monthly Comic Rex magazine in September 2018 having finished the work in January 2019. The manga tells “stories later ”By the characters Masamune, Aki, Yoshino and others.
The publisher Ichijinsha published the stories in a single volume dubbed “volume 11” of the manga in April 2019, and Seven Seas Entertainment published the volume in English on June 16, 2020.
