Visual Novel “Nukitashi” will get an anime

During this weekend the group Qruppo held an event focusing on their visual novel Nuki-Gee Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyū (Watashi) wa Dō Surya Ii Desuka? (What's a Flat-Chested Girl Like Me to Do on an Island Straight Out of a Porn Game?) or simply NUKITASHI, where he announced that the anime received green light to be adapted into an anime with the title "Nukitashi the Animation".

If you're not familiar with NUKITASHI, the game is an adult visual novel set on a tropical island, a paradise where sexual acts are fully permitted in accordance with the local Pervert Law, but even Here in paradise, there are those who prefer to remain celibate. The protagonist is Junnosuke Tachibana, who returns to the island after losing his parents and will now face a force that hides in the shadows.

NUKITASHI was the first game from Qruppo originally released in 2018, with equal parts eccentric, humorous and action-packed, the NUKITASHI franchise continues being loved and highly acclaimed among Japanese fans and took home the award for Best Setting, as well as Best New Brand, at the 2018 Moe Game Awards, and its sequel NUKITASHI 2 also won the Annual Grand Prize of the Moe Game Award 2019!

Mameojitan released a manga adaptation of the game on Beaglee's Manga Ōkoku service in 2020, and then began serializing the manga in the magazine Ultra Jump by Shueisha in 2021. Shueisha published the fourth volumes of the manga last May.
