Meet "Towerborne" new action RPG coming to PC and Xbox

Yesterday during the Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Towerborne was officially announced, an action RPG with real-time combat produced by Stoic, a studio known for the Banner Saga franchise.

Towerborne contrary to Banner Saga, which had a more serious and adult story, it will bet on a more family-friendly direction, with a charismatic adventure. According to the studio, Towerborne will be a game with a strong replay factor, receiving content and news over time. Updates will help shape and evolve the game's narrative.

It will be possible to customize your character completely, from its look to combat style, with equipment, weapons and skills. A base will also be available, where players will be able to pick up new quests and even have unique encounters.

Towerborne will launch for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2024. The game will also be available at launch via Xbox Game Pass.
