BONES Studio reveals ‘SK8 The Infinity’, their new anime

BONES Studio (My Hero Academia) has just revealed that ‘SK8 The Infinity’ is their next original anime production, debuting in January 2021. In the direction, we’ll have Hiroko Utsumi, known as ‘Banana Fish’ and ‘Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club ’.

The script is supervised by Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress), while Michinori Chiba (Basilisk, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) takes care of the characters' visuals.

Ryō Takahashi (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept., Argonavis from BanG Dream!) Will compose the soundtrack.

SK8 The Infinity follows Reki, a sophomore in high school who loves to skate and gets involved in “S”, a dangerous skate race in an abandoned mine with no rules. Ranga, who returned from Canada to Japan and has never skated before, also gets involved in S along with Reki. The two will need to beat cheating competitors and even artificial intelligence in the youth skate race.
